Job summary

Bosch in Penang, Malaysia offers an internship position focused on EHS auditing and compliance. You will assist in hazard assessments, data trend analysis, and documentation management across training records, chemical registers and SDS files.

The role supports EHS engineers in various activities, including campaign events and follow-up actions, with a local six-month availability as part of the internship intake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or Chemical Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform Audits to check EHS Compliance at workplace.
• Perform Audit follow-up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Documentation Management: training records, Contractor Work Authorization records, Chemical Register, Safety Data Sheets, Equipment Buy Off records etc.
• Data Analysis to study trends: near miss or accident trends, waste generation trends, audit findings trends etc.
• Assist HSE Engineers on hazard assessment: equipment safety buy off, coordinate noise monitoring, storm water sampling, chemical exposure monitoring etc.
• Support EHS Campaign events: prepare poster, coordinate games, quiz, exhibition etc.
• Assist HSE Engineers on other activities as needed

Education

Bachelor Degree in Science (Environmental, Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering preferably).
