Job summary

QL Corporate Services Sdn Bhd invites final-year STEM students for a 4-6 month internship in the Data Analytics team in Shah Alam. You will support data analysis, data engineering, and BI initiatives, transforming raw data into reusable assets and building dashboards in PowerBI.

We seek proactive, independent team players with basic RBAC, data security and governance awareness. Own transport and readiness to be based in Bukit Jelutong are preferred as the role is on-site.

Qualifications

• Final-year undergraduate or master's student in STEM.
• Interest in BI, data analytics or data engineering.
• Basic knowledge of RBAC, data security and governance.
• Proactive, eager to learn and grow; able to work independently.
• Willing to be based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam with own transport.

4-6 months internship period of exciting hands-on learning and development opportunities awaits you.

How will you benefit?

Gain a holistic understanding of the operations in the Data Analytics team by supporting transformative initiatives in data analysis and data engineering, including:

• Transforming data into reusable analytics assets – datasets, reports, pipelines, and notebooks – in the curated layer of the Lakehouse and Data Warehouse via Microsoft Fabric.
• Building and maintaining pipelines to ingest data from various data sources into a data warehouse / lakehouse.
• Building datasets and tables for stakeholders to connect to and build from.
• Create effective visualisation and dashboard reporting in PowerBI.

Internship allowance of RM 1,000 per month.

Currently in their final year, final semester studying Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent.

• Interest in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering role.
• Basic knowledge with role-based access control (RBAC), data security, and governance.
• Proactive and motivated individual, who is always eager to learn and grow.
• Able to work independently and is a good team player.
• Have own transport and willing to be based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
