Job summary

Lucky Frozen is seeking an intern to assist the QC team in quality inspections and production monitoring. You will gain hands-on experience in food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality control within a production environment.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, teamwork, and the ability to follow company procedures. Microsoft Word/Excel skills are an added advantage, and this internship aligns with university requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Quality Management, Biotechnology, or other related fields.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality control principles is an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented with good observation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a production or food manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QC team in conducting quality inspections on raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Assist in monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with company quality and food safety standards.
• Support the QC team in conducting routine checks on product quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and production areas.
• Assist in recording inspection results, quality findings, and other QC documentation.
• Assist in identifying non-conformance issues and reporting them to the QC Executive or Supervisor.
• Support in monitoring compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and food safety requirements, where applicable.
• Assist in conducting sampling and basic quality testing according to established procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of QC records and reports.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of QC equipment and materials.
• Participate in internal audits, quality improvement activities, and corrective actions when required.
• Perform other QC-related duties and ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the superior.
