Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a talented multimedia designer to produce engaging content across social media, websites and internal communications. You will translate brand guidelines into compelling visuals and collaborate with marketing teams.

You should have a strong portfolio in graphic design, video, animation, and interactive media, and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is required for local team communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience or a strong portfolio in multimedia design across graphics, video, animation and interactive media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma.
• Ability to translate marketing objectives and brand guidelines into compelling visuals across digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory and layout composition.
• Excellent multitasking and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with current multimedia design trends and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to receive and incorporate feedback.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia for effective local team communication.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design engaging multimedia content for social media, website and internal communications, ensuring brand consistency.
• Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to develop visuals aligned with campaigns.
• Produce high-quality video, animation and motion graphics from storyboard to final render.
• Create graphics, illustrations and layouts for digital and print materials.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Stay updated with design trends, software and technologies to continually improve output.
• Assist in developing and maintaining brand guidelines.
• Edit and retouch photos and videos to meet project requirements.
• Work with content creators to ensure visuals complement written content.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions to enhance campaigns and storytelling.

• Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print materials, including brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, software, and technologies to continuously improve design output and introduce innovative ideas.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, ensuring all visual assets adhere to established standards.
• Edit and retouch photos and videos to enhance visual appeal and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Work closely with content creators and copywriters to ensure visual elements effectively complement written or spoken content.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance marketing campaigns and brand storytelling.
