Job summary

SK Jewellery is seeking a junior graphic designer in Kuala Lumpur. Fresh graduates or those pursuing a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design or related fields are welcome. A strong portfolio and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are essential.

You will create visuals for social media, website banners, emails, and print ads, ensuring brand consistency across platforms and collaborating with marketing to translate objectives into creative assets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related field.
• No prior professional experience required; a strong portfolio showcasing design skills is essential.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding of visual communication principles and design theory.
• Familiarity with branding concepts across mediums.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing design principles and social media content creation.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create visually compelling graphics for marketing materials across social, web, email, and print.
• Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to translate objectives into creative visuals.
• Assist in developing and maintaining brand guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Design engaging presentations and infographics to support communications.
• Prepare final artwork files for print and digital production, ensuring accuracy.

• Prepare final artwork files for print and digital production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies within the jewellery and fashion industries, and propose innovative ideas to enhance our visual presence.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to ongoing design projects.
