Job summary

INK Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking a creative graphic design intern to assist in branding materials for events, posters, banners, and digital assets. You will prepare visuals for social media campaigns and promotional content, while learning to adapt designs for print and online formats.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Proficiency in graphic design, illustration or related area.
• Positive, proactive and eager to learn with a strong ownership mindset.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Portfolio of past design work is a plus (academic or personal projects accepted).

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing event branding materials for print and digital formats.

• Support creative development for event themes and mood boards.
• Prepare designs for multiple formats including print and digital.
• Assist with video and motion graphics content for teasers and presentations.
• Collaborate with event planners to align with client objectives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas.
• Maintain organized design files and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with basic on-site creative setup when needed (LED graphics support).

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing event branding materials such as posters, banners, backdrops, stage visuals, flyers, brochures, and digital assets.
• Create visual content for social media marketing, promotional campaigns, and event announcements.
• Support creative development for event themes, mood boards, and concept visuals.
• Prepare and adapt designs into multiple formats for print and digital use.
• Assist in video and motion graphic content creation for event teasers, highlights, and presentations.
• Collaborate with event planners to ensure designs align with client objectives and event direction.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, innovative ideas.
• Maintain organized design files and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
• Assist with basic on-site creative setup when needed (visual placements, LED graphics support, etc.).

Requirements

• Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Creative Multimedia, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or related fields.
• Good knowledge or skills in graphic design, illustration or similar field in design industry.
• Willingness to learn and aggressive.
• Positive mindset and proactive.
• Responsible and high ownership.
• Familiar with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Added advantage: Proficiency in design tools such as:
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Canva
• (Bonus: Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro / CapCut for motion graphics & video editing)
• Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple design requests.
