Role

This role involves supporting U Mobile’s corporate communications, social media, and sustainability teams through content creation, trend monitoring, administrative coordination, and on-ground event assistance.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• Support the development of social media content, including drafting captions, content ideas and basic content planning


• Keep up with social media trends and identify relevant content opportunities for U Mobile’s corporate channels


• Assist with coordinating social media content, including gathering information, visuals and other materials required for posts


• Draft, edit and proofread communications materials based on briefs provided by the team


• Support basic research, tracking and monitoring for communications and social media activities


• Assist with communications and sustainability campaigns, programmes and initiatives, where required


• Provide administrative support, including document filing, record keeping, submissions and organising materials


• Assist with data gathering and documentation, where required


• Provide on-ground support for events, campaigns, content shoots and other initiatives, including off-site assignments, where required


• Support PR & Media and Sustainability initiatives and activities, where required

About You

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, Business Management/Administration or equivalent


• Strong interest in social media, digital content and current online trends


• Good verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail


• Creative and comfortable developing ideas for social media content


• Familiar with major social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook


• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic familiarity with content creation or design tools such as Canva is an advantage


• Driven, organised and willing to learn, with the ability to take direction and manage multiple tasks


• Interest in corporate communications, telecommunications and ESG/sustainability issues is an advantage
