Job summary

U Mobile is looking for a motivated intern to gain hands-on exposure to mobile app product management, customer experience, and data-informed decision making. You will support the MyUMobile App team with day-to-day operations, feature initiatives, testing, and digital improvement projects.

You will collect and transform data, build dashboards, perform basic analysis, and create simple automation scripts. A good command of English and a degree pursuit in a related field are expected, with

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
• Good command of English.
• Exposure to digital products, mobile apps, analytics or UX is an advantage.
• Basic hands-on experience with digital tools or coding is beneficial.
• Curious, analytical, and proactive, with an interest in solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, cleanse, and transform data from relevant sources to support reporting.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations with key insights.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for decision-making.

Role

Gain hands-on exposure to mobile app product management, customer experience, data-informed decision making, and cross-functional project delivery. The intern will support the MyUMobile App team across day-to-day operations, feature and campaign initiatives, testing, analysis, and digital improvement projects.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• Assist in collecting, preparing, cleansing, and transforming data from relevant sources to support reporting, analysis, and business requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of regular dashboards, reports, and data visualisations, highlighting key trends, performance indicators, and actionable insights.
• Perform basic data analysis and validation to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that can support product and business decision-making.
• Assist in developing simple scripts and automation to improve data processing, reporting efficiency, and repetitive operational tasks.
• Support the creation and maintenance of basic data models, data structures, and reporting datasets to ensure data is organised, consistent, and usable for analysis.
• Work with product, business, and technical teams to understand data requirements, translate business questions into analysis, and present findings in a clear and practical manner.
• Support ad-hoc analytical tasks and digital projects related to the MyUMobile App and digital customer experience.

About You

• Currently pursuing a degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Good command of English required.
• Exposure to digital products, mobile apps, software or data projects, analytics, AI, automation, or UX through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, or internships is an advantage.
• Basic hands-on experience with digital tools, data analysis, or coding is beneficial, but not required.
• Curious, analytical, and proactive, with an interest in solving problems and turning ideas into practical improvements.
• Comfortable learning new systems, managing multiple tasks, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Responsible team player with clear communication, attention to detail, and openness to feedback
