Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking Diploma or Bachelor's degree students in business-related fields for an entry-level Business Development assistant role. Fresh graduates with no work experience are welcome to apply. You will support daily admin tasks, conduct market research, prepare reports in Excel, and assist with partner outreach.

Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, good communication skills, and a proactive attitude are essential. Training will be provided, with 5 working days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Business Development team with daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Conduct basic research on competitors, retail businesses, market trends, and opportunities.
• Collect and organise market information, pricing, promotions, and competitor data.
• Assist in preparing simple reports, presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
• Help update and maintain business development databases and records.
• Assist with outlet/location research and prepare information for the team.
• Support the team in contacting or following up with potential business partners.
• Arrange meetings, prepare documents, and coordinate business development activities.
• Participate in business development projects and company initiatives.
• Perform other tasks or ad-hoc duties as required by the supervisor.
