Job summary

ACCA Careers in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Internal Audit professional to lead and supervise staff, assess the internal control framework, and drive timely completion of audits. You will ensure documentation of work papers and audit results, analyze findings, and develop actionable recommendations for improvements.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in internal audit, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen with at least a Bachelor's Degree.
• Internal audit experience of 3+ years; applicants with lesser experience may be considered for an Internal Audit Assistant.
• Discipline, independence and ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, resourceful, innovative and detail oriented.
• Strong analytical mind with good report writing and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with staff and clients.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Able to lead and supervise internal audit staff to ensure adequate coverage of audit scope.
• Good comprehension on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control system and risk management framework.
• Ensure subordinates prepare complete documentation of working papers, audit procedures and techniques conducted, and results of audit checks.
• Able to analyze findings, determine possible causes and implications and develop recommendations/ corrective actions/ improvements on gaps identified.
• Able to present and explain findings, provide advice on internal controls, promote implementation of recommendations/ corrective actions/ improvements.
• Assume full on-the-job responsibility for satisfactory completion of assigned tasks including supervising and providing guidance to junior staff.
• Complete assigned projects in organized and efficient manner on time and within budget.
• Perform ad hoc audit and investigation on areas of concern as and when required.

Requirements

• A Malaysian and possess at least a Bachelor's Degree
• Internal audit experience of at least 3 years and above. Applicants with lesser years of experience or no experience may be considered for the position of Internal Audit Assistant.
