Job summary

Vacasia Tours & Travels Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive Audit to strengthen our internal audit function. The role focuses on evaluating risk management, control and governance processes, safeguarding assets, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will deliver insights to senior management on operational efficiency and financial controls. The ideal candidate holds ACCA/CA/CPA certification with 1–2 years in internal or external audit or accounting, and demonstrates strong

Qualifications

• ACCA/CA/CPA or equivalent recognised certification
• 1–2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit or accounting roles
• Experience in hospitality, tourism or travel industry preferred
• Strong understanding of internal audit principles, risk management and governance frameworks
• Proficiency in audit methodologies, planning and sampling techniques
• Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit management software

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document internal audits across departments and functions
• Evaluate internal controls, risk management and governance structures
• Identify control weaknesses and provide actionable improvements
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations
• Follow up on audit recommendations within agreed timescales
• Assist in development of audit plans and documentation standards
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
• Identify and assess organizational risks and support risk mitigation strategies
• Maintain confidentiality and independence in audit activities
