Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia invites an intern to join the Test Equipment Engineering team to automate PPJ data extraction and dashboarding.

You will help convert PPJ data into Power BI trend charts, link equipment IDs to alarm codes, and map codes to faulty parts, supporting faster troubleshooting and data-driven decisions under guidance from the MMP Site Test Equipment Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with AI, data analytics, software development, or automation projects preferred.
• Python programming and automation scripting.
• Data extraction, transformation, and consolidation.
• Data analysis and visualization.
• Database fundamentals and structured data management.
• Understanding of SQL or similar data-querying methods.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other dashboard development platforms.
• Experience with API integration, machine learning, or AI-assisted data extraction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated PPJ data extraction from source database.
• Create trend charts and dashboards by test platform, DID, equipment, and alarms.
• Map alarm codes to equipment IDs and faulty parts.
• Provide documentation and user guidance for adoption and maintenance.
• Collaborate with MMP Site Test Equipment Engineering.
