Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to assist in business analysis and software testing activities. You will help gather requirements, write user stories, and map processes, while coordinating with developers and QA for clarity and traceability.

You will gain exposure to SDLC, SIT, UAT, and defect workflows, using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Visio to document artifacts and track progress. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Basic knowledge of testing concepts (SIT, UAT, defect lifecycle)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps
• Basic SQL or data analysis knowledge; exposure to Agile/Scrum
• Experience with process flow tools (e.g., Visio)

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
• Support in preparing functional specifications, user stories and process flows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected outcomes.
• Help analyze gaps between business needs and system capabilities.
• Participate in requirement review sessions and workshops.
