Hong Leong Bank Berhad invites you to join our finance team for an investment product internship. You will participate in research, data analysis, and supporting product launches across mutual funds and structured products.

You'll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Compliance, gain hands-on experience in the product lifecycle, and develop your Excel and presentation skills while contributing to real client solutions in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance, Economics, Business, or a similar field.
• Strong interest in investment products and financial markets.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• A self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Market Research: analyze competition, industry trends, and client needs for new investment products.
• Data Analysis: track product and sales performance of existing products (mutual funds, structured products, bonds).
• Product Support: assist in drafting or redesigning training kits and sales materials for launches.
• Team Collaboration: work with Sales, Marketing, and Compliance to align product plans.

The Opportunity

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Market Research: Look into the competition, analyze industry trends, and gather information to figure out what new investment products our clients need.

• Product Support: Assist in drafting or redesigning investment product training kits, product sales kits, and other new launches and focus products.
• Team Collaboration: Work with various teams—including Sales, Marketing, and Compliance—to ensure product plans are clear and aligned.
• Documentation: Organize and update internal materials and presentations used to educate teams about our products.
• Project Coordination: Support the team in preparing for new product launches or client events.
