Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering a Product Development Intern role to gain hands-on experience by supporting activities in the NPD process. The role provides exposure in product and packaging development, operation technical, and quality assurance, working with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, branding, and sales.

This internship offers practical industry experience in a beverage FMCG environment under supervision and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Lab-related tasks and data analysis
• Ability to conduct trials and testing
• Strong written and spoken communication in English and Bahasa

Responsibilities

• Assist in New Product Development (NPD) projects, including lab works, trials and testing
• Support Product Pillar initiatives by setting up standards, guidelines, documents and records
• Conduct market research, data analysis, report preparation and presentation
• Support in lab management activities, including lab cleanliness, inventory management, and equipment calibration
• Work with internal teams on continuous improvement projects
• Perform other business-related tasks assigned by supervisor/co-workers to support business needs

Education

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or related science field

Under the guidance of supervisor and mentors, applying academic knowledge & skills in areal business activities related TPD Product Pillar.

Assist in New Product Development (NPD) projects, including lab works, trials and testing.

Support Product Pillar initiatives by setting up standards, guideline, documents and records.

Conduct market research, data analysis, report preparation and presentation.

Support in lab management activities, including lab cleanliness, inventory management, and equipment calibration.

Work with internal teams on continuous improvement projects.

Perform other business-related tasks assigned by supervisor / co-workers to support business needs.

Requirements

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or related science field.

Preferably or able to commit up to 6 months internship.

Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa.
