What You’ll Do:

• Performing system testing and quality control checks
• Developing and maintaining EDI documentation

Requirements:

Must have EDI background with development. EDI specialists should have a solid background in information systems technology and working knowledge of data communication protocols. They must be detail-oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills and have the ability to work independently. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is normally required. In addition, employers typically look for several years of IT-related experience, plus three or more years with EDI systems administration, design, analysis and development.

• Good working knowledge of standard computer operating systems, i.e. Microsoft, Unix.
• Understand object-oriented concepts.
• Understanding of database objects, tables, views, keys, indexes, stored procedures.
