S P Setia Berhad is offering a 6-month internship in our finance team at Setia Alam, Malaysia. The role focuses on preparing and checking financial data for monthly and quarterly reports, and assisting with budget analyses and reporting tasks.

Basic Excel skills and a team-oriented mindset are required, with opportunities to learn about financial and management reporting processes. Ideal for students in Accounting/Finance/Business Analytics and those pursuing CFA or related qualifications.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Candidates pursuing CFA or other relevant finance qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Available for a 6-month internship from November 2026 to May 2027.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• To assist in preparing and checking financial data for monthly and quarterly reports.
• To help compare actual business results against the budget and identify differences.
• To support budget reviews by preparing data, simple charts, and summaries.
• To perform basic checks to ensure financial data is accurate and matches source records.
