Job summary

OCBC Group is offering a GL Operations internship in Kuala Lumpur within the Finance Division. You will assist in processing daily GL journals, verifying entries in Oracle Fusion, and reconciling GL data while supporting ad-hoc tasks and ongoing projects.

The role is ideal for a strong student pursuing Finance or FinTech with a keen interest in digital finance. Successful candidates will gain exposure to Oracle Fusion, Excel-based analytics, and a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance OR FinTech.
• Available for an internship period of 3 to 6 months.
• Strong academic performance with a genuine interest in finance, banking, digital finance, and financial technologies.

Responsibilities

• Process daily GL journals and record entries.
• Support verification of accounting entries in Oracle Fusion.
• Reconcile GL and source system data.
• Handle daily ad-hoc requests and tasks.

Involve in a variety of tasks at the General Ledger (GL) Operations unit in Finance Division. Processing daily GL journals, supporting verification of accounting entries in Oracle Fusion system, reconciliation of GL and source system, processing daily ad-hoc requests and explore in Microsoft Excel. Assisting GL Operation in daily task, project, and ad-hoc tasks. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance OR Financial Technology (FinTech).
