Job summary

Airscan Malaysia is seeking an Intern - Environmental & Sustainability for on-site work in Petaling Jaya. You will support air quality and environmental projects, collect data, perform analyses, and prepare internal and client reports.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, site visits, and contributing to documentation, presentations, and recommendations to improve environmental performance and wellbeing. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and sustainability concepts is helpful.
• Ability to support training activities and prepare materials.

Role Description

The Intern - Environmental & Sustainability role is a full-time, on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. The intern will support environmental and sustainability projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting on air quality and other environmental indicators for indoor and outdoor spaces. Daily tasks include assisting with environmental compliance reviews, supporting green building and sustainability assessments, and preparing documentation and presentations for internal and client use. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in site visits and inspections, and helping to develop recommendations that improve environmental performance and human wellbeing. The intern will also contribute to research on environmental policies, best practices, and standards relevant to Airscan's projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
• Candidates should possess knowledge or interest in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Health & Safety, and Occupational Health.
• Candidates should possess strong Environmental Awareness and an understanding of sustainability concepts.
• Candidates should possess the ability to support Training activities, including preparing materials and assisting in sessions.
• Candidates should possess good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Familiarity with basic EHS regulations, green building standards, or environmental management systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) and the ability to learn new tools quickly is preferred.
