Job summary

BIG CARING GROUP invites an Intern – HSE to join our on-site team in Bukit Raja, Malaysia. You will support daily Health, Safety and Environment activities, help monitor safety practices, assist with risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, including MYKKP system matters.

The role offers hands-on exposure in a fast-paced healthcare and retail environment, with opportunities to collect HSE data, prepare basic reports, and participate in safety inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to apply core Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Health & Safety, and Occupational Health principles in a workplace setting.
• Awareness of environmental standards and practices, with interest in Environmental Awareness and sustainable operations.
• Capacity to support and deliver basic HSE-related Training and safety briefings to colleagues.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong observation, documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive and responsible approach to tasks.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bukit Raja and learn from hands-on exposure in a fast-paced healthcare and retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HSE activities on-site at Bukit Raja.
• Monitor workplace safety practices and assist with risk assessments.
• Assist with compliance with regulations and internal policies; MYKKP system matters.
• Collect and update HSE data; prepare basic reports.
• Assist in safety inspections and other HSE tasks.

Role Description

The Intern – HSE role is an on-site internship position based in Bukit Raja. The intern will support daily Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities, including monitoring workplace safety practices, assisting with risk assessments, and helping ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies and assisting with MYKKP System related matters .
