Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support the Demand Planning team across five markets in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to regional demand planning activities and helps develop analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will gain experience with forecasting, data analysis, reporting, and the S&OP process, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, Economics).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with data focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sets).
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with data.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support system forecast updates across five markets, including building block adjustments and weekly forecast changes.
• Assist in the preparation, documentation, and maintenance of S&OP templates and materials.
• Support the preparation of Demand Planning presentations, including Risk & Opportunity updates.
• Prepare and analyze recurring demand planning data, including MAPE and Bias metrics.
• Perform data extraction, consolidation, validation, and analysis to support planning activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate or improve reports and analyses to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with Demand Planners and cross-functional stakeholders on ad-hoc analyses.

Summary

The Supply Chain Intern will support the Demand Planning team in forecasting, data analysis, reporting, and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across multiple markets. This role provides hands‑on exposure to regional demand planning activities and offers the opportunity to develop analytical and problem‑solving skills within a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support system forecast updates across five markets, including building block adjustments, weekly forecast changes, and Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) split updates.
• Assist in the preparation, documentation, and maintenance of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) templates and supporting materials.
• Support the preparation of Demand Planning presentation materials, including Risk & Opportunity updates, for review by the Market Demand Planner (MDP).
• Prepare and analyze recurring demand planning data, including forecast accuracy metrics such as MAPE and Bias, as well as other simulations and analyses.
• Perform data extraction, consolidation, validation, and analysis to support demand planning activities and business decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, or improve existing reports and analytical processes to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with Demand Planners and relevant cross‑functional stakeholders on ad‑hoc analyses and planning activities as required.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an interest in working with data and identifying trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work comfortably with formulas, data sets, and spreadsheets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recurring tasks and deadlines.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Requirements

• 6 months internship
• Standard Working hours, Office work environment: Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
• Relocation Eligibility: This role is not eligible for relocation
