Job summary

ATB Sdn. Bhd., part of the Vitol group, offers an exciting internship opportunity for Account students in Malaysia.

The intern will gain hands-on exposure to day-to-day accounting operations, accounts payable, budgeting, and general accounting activities while working closely with an experienced accounting team. As an Intern – Account, you will assist with daily AP transactions, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close tasks, while supporting management reporting and budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CGPA 3.0 or above.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Internship period of 3-6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including processing AP transactions.
• Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Support the preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
• Support annual budget preparation.
• Assist with other ad-hoc accounting operations assigned.
