Job summary

DKSH is seeking an Intern, Marketing and Communications to support the Marketing and Communications team in planning and executing campaigns, creating content, and handling internal and external communications. This internship provides hands-on experience within a dynamic, Asia-focused organization.

You will contribute to developing campaigns, producing engaging content for social media and intranet, and coordinating events and internal activities.

Qualifications

About The Role

The Intern, Marketing and Communications supports DKSH's Marketing and Communications team by contributing to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, content creation, and internal and external communications initiatives. This internship offers a meaningful opportunity to develop practical, hands-on marketing skills within a dynamic, Asia-focused organization.

What You Will Deliver

• Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns that strengthen DKSH's brand presence and communications impact
• Create engaging and relevant content for various platforms, including social media channels and the company intranet
• Collaborate with team members on the coordination of events, trade shows, and internal activities to ensure smooth and effective execution
• Support the production of internal and external communications, including newsletters, memos, and announcements, maintaining clarity and consistency of messaging throughout
• Assist in photography, video production, and graphic design to enhance the visual quality and appeal of marketing materials
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required, including corporate merchandise ordering, inventory management, and communications support for local and global markets

What You Bring

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field
• Basic knowledge of branding, marketing, and communications principles and practices
• Skills in copywriting, proofreading, and editing, with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines and consistently deliver tasks on time
• Independent and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and resourcefulness in leveraging digital and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to work efficiently
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
• Appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities, particularly in cross-country and cross-cultural interactions
• Positive learning attitude and genuine willingness to grow and take on new challenges
• Knowledge of design software and video creation tools is an advantage
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
