Job summary

The Makeover Guys is seeking an Interior Designer to design and makeover our residential units, directly impacting homeowners and tenants. You will develop concepts, refine designs per client feedback, and create drawings and renderings to realise design solutions.

Hybrid working arrangements apply. You will collaborate with the project team, source materials, perform site visits, and ensure timely, quality project delivery while staying updated on trends and best practices in interior design.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Interior Designer.
• Fluency in English is required; Mandarin (Chinese) is a plus.
• Must own a car.
• Hybrid working arrangement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts including space planning, mood boards, material selection, and sketches for residential projects, including more complex or high-value projects
• Refine designs based on client feedback and requirements while managing requests, expectations, and design-related enquiries throughout the project journey
• Conduct design consultations with clients to understand their needs as well as provide design advice and recommendations to enhance the overall living experience
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and technical drawings
• Prepare cost estimations and quotations based on proposed design solutions and project requirements
• Source for materials, furniture, and decorations in line with project budgets
• Conduct site visits to take measurements, monitor progress, and ensure design accuracy
• Liaise and collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure timely and quality project delivery
• Coordinate final decor styling, quality checks, and photography prior to project handover
• Research, explore, and introduce design concepts, materials, trends, and technical solutions to continuously enhance project quality and customer experience

Working Arrangement:

Hybrid. Work closely with our Sales Consultant and Project Manager.
