Job summary

Allianz Services Malaysia, part of the Allianz Group, invites an experienced leader to head Insurance Operations. You will oversee operations across service lines, drive productivity, and ensure a customer‑oriented delivery culture that aligns with Allianz standards.

You will build an inclusive, high‑performing team in a global matrix, manage budgets, and pursue innovations such as RPA and AI to sustain growth and value for Allianz's clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in insurance and operations, management, or related fields.
• Expertise in at least one insurance area such as claims operations, policy management or underwriting.
• Proven people leader with experience building a diverse, high-performing global team.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong capability in operations management, cost control, strategic planning and change management.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service lines, processes and corrective actions to achieve excellence.
• Manage facilities, logistics, IT, supplier management and information security.
• Collaborate with global heads to ensure delivery standards are met.
• Own revenue, costs and P&L for Operations services delivered.
• Drive value through innovations and cost savings for OEs and clients.
• Lead a diverse local team and matrix organization to high performance.
• Ensure compliance and business continuity across operations.
