Job summary

RHB Investment Bank Berhad is seeking a motivated Dealer, Institutional Equities to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. You will execute equity trades for institutional clients, deliver timely market updates, and ensure compliant, efficient order execution.

The role requires a degree or professional qualification and at least 3 years in equity dealing; licences (Dealer's Rep Licence) are a plus. You will build client relationships and support settlements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A degree or professional qualification from a recognized institution.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in equity dealing, stockbroking, capital markets, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the equities market, trading processes, and institutional client servicing.
• Dealer's Representative Licence (Modules 6 and 7) is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good contact network within the investment, fund management, institutional, or capital markets community.
• Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Motivated, adaptable, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Execute client orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with market regulations and internal policies.
• Strive to achieve zero or minimal trading errors through diligent trade execution and monitoring.
• Keep clients informed of order status, market developments, and prevailing market conditions.
• Ensure all trading-related tasks and administrative requirements are completed by end of trading day.
• Monitor and track trade management activities to enhance execution efficiency and service quality.
• Provide proactive client servicing by maintaining regular engagement with institutional clients.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Maintain the professional licence by attending relevant training and earning Continuing Professional Education points.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth trade settlement and resolution of issues.
