Job summary

Confidential, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, seeks an institutional API support engineer to diagnose and fix integration issues so clients can trade again quickly.

You will own the troubleshooting cycle for institutional API problems, turn patterns into living docs, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to land durable fixes. Fluency in English and Chinese is required for client and engineer communication.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing API or integration issues in a live trading environment.
• Ability to explain root causes clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills to maintain knowledge bases.
• Comfort reading logs and traces across REST/WebSocket/HTTP calls.

Responsibilities

• Own the full troubleshooting cycle for institutional API issues—from authentication failures to order-placement errors.
• Turn recurring support patterns into a living knowledge base with docs and FAQs.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to pin down root causes and implement durable fixes.
• Contribute to API rollouts by sharing learnings with QA, Ops, and RM.
