Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking an experienced corporate restructuring professional to manage insolvency assignments, including liquidation and receivership, in Kuala Lumpur.

You will prepare proposals and reports, liaise with bankers, solicitors, creditors and directors, and contribute to negotiations. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Hold a Degree in Finance / Accounting / Banking / Law or professional qualifications in ICAEW / ACCA / CPA Australia / MICPA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of Corporate Restructuring experience.
• Great interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
• Good analytical skills and be able to work independently with the projects assigned.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, develop good relationships with senior management, and operate well within a team environment.
• Prior experience in handling insolvency engagements (i.e. liquidation and receivership).

Responsibilities

• Manage insolvency administration assignments including liquidation, receivership and CVAs.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and reports.
• Liaise with bankers, solicitors, creditors, debtors, directors and statutory bodies.
• Conduct financial reviews and participate in negotiations.
• Convene meetings with stakeholders in receivership or liquidation.
• Develop engagement planning with timelines and oversee delivery.
• Review work of Associates/Senior Consultants and provide guidance.
• Participate in business development, including client meetings and proposals.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as needed.
