Job summary

You will prepare Cambridge IGCSE ICT/Computer Science for Secondary students and integrate technology meaningfully into lessons.

You will also support the IT department with maintenance of school systems, hardware and software, ensuring a reliable digital learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Education, or related field (teaching qualification preferred).
• Minimum 2 years' teaching experience, ideally with Cambridge IGCSE.
• Strong knowledge of educational software, coding platforms (Scratch, Python), and office tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Confident using technology to enrich learning across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons across Primary to Secondary levels, adapting content for each age group
• Teach digital literacy, computational thinking, coding fundamentals, and internet safety
• Prepare Secondary students for Cambridge IGCSE ICT/Computer Science
• Maintain and troubleshoot classroom technology in coordination with IT support
• Assist and support the IT department with the maintenance of school systems, network, and digital infrastructure as needed
• Track and evaluate student progress with constructive feedback
• Foster positive behavior and a supportive classroom environment
• Participate in school clubs, events, and extracurricular programs (e.g., coding/robotics club)
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across subjects
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and development
