Job summary

Tree Top International School in Malaysia seeks an enthusiastic IGCSE Computer Science Teacher (Part-Time) to join our Secondary teaching team from January 2027. You will plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, fostering computational thinking and programming skills among students.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and teaching qualification, with experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0478).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Education or related field.
• Teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent preferred.
• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0478) preferred.
• Sound knowledge of programming and Cambridge IGCSE CS curriculum.

IGCSE Computer Science Teacher -Part-Time

Tree Top International School is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging IGCSE Computer Science Teacher to join our Secondary teaching team on a part-time basis from January 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Develop students' understanding of computational thinking, programming, algorithms, data representation and computer systems.
• Provide practical programming experiences and support students in applying concepts through problem-solving.
• Prepare assessments and guide students towards IGCSE examination readiness.
• Monitor and communicate student progress effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education or a related field.
• Teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent is preferred.
• Relevant teaching and/or industry experience.
• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0478) is strongly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of programming and the current Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science curriculum and assessment requirements.
