Job summary

Tree Top International School in Malaysia seeks an enthusiastic IGCSE Computer Science Teacher (Part-Time) to join our Secondary teaching team from January 2027. You will plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, fostering computational thinking and programming skills among students.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and teaching qualification, with experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0478).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Education or related field.
• Teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent preferred.
• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0478) preferred.
• Sound knowledge of programming and Cambridge IGCSE CS curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum and assessment.
• Develop students' understanding of programming, algorithms, data representation and systems.
• Provide practical programming experiences and problem solving.
• Prepare assessments and guide IGCSE examination readiness.
• Monitor and communicate student progress effectively.
