Job summary

Horizon Technology Solution Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Pre-Sales Engineer to support the sales team in designing and positioning infrastructure solutions across server, storage, cloud, security and network domains.

You will translate customer requirements into credible, well-costed designs and present those designs to clients. The role covers technical qualification, proposal development, and direct client engagement, including solution demonstrations and POC support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/EE or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in IT infrastructure pre-sales or solutions engineering.
• Experience designing and costing across at least three domains (server, storage, cloud, security, network).
• Experience in SI/reseller/vendor pre-sales is preferred.
• Mandarin language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions across server, storage, cloud and network.
• Prepare costed BOQs/BOMs and respond to RFPs/RFIs with sales and delivery teams.
• Present solutions to clients, conduct demos and POC exercises.
• Collaborate with vendor partners for specifications, pricing and validation.
• Handover won opportunities to delivery teams with complete design intent.
