Job summary

Pembinaan Teguh Maju is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to plan, implement, and maintain QA/QC systems for an infrastructure project in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will work with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, and standards.

The role emphasizes inspections, testing coordination, documentation, non-conformances, and timely corrective actions to deliver quality works and project handover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of MS/BS/ISO 9001 quality standards is preferred.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QA/QC Plan in line with project requirements.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, ITPs and standards.
• Monitor construction activities for quality compliance and document results.
• Prepare ITPs, Checklists, NCRs and quality reports.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to identify non-conformities.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with Consultants, Client reps, Contractors and suppliers.
• Identify and coordinate corrective actions to close NCRs within deadlines.
• Ensure project handover documentation is complete and accurate.
