Job summary

Kagina Pte Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join the IT Operations team, focusing on Dell servers, NetApp and Pure storage, and VMware virtualization to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of our global infrastructure. Responsibilities include deploying enterprise-grade infrastructure, optimizing storage, managing VMware ESXi/vCenter, and integrating cloud services.

You will develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash), monitor systems, provide Tier 2 support,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and systems administration.
• Expert-level knowledge of Dell server hardware and management tools (iDRAC, OpenManage).
• Extensive experience with NetApp storage systems and protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI).
• Advanced proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Proficiency with AWS and Azure cloud services for data center delivery.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.

Responsibilities

• Implement, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions using Dell servers, NetApp and Pure storage, and VMware.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to work within the Operations team, reporting to Director IT Operations. This role requires deep expertise in DELL server platforms, NetApp and Pure storage systems, and VMware virtualization technologies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen and a proactive approach to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the customer's global infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

Implement, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions utilizing Dell servers, NetApp and Pure storage, and VMware virtualization

Implement, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions utilizing cloud infrastructure, compute, storage, services and tools

Contribute to complex infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning

Manage and optimize NetApp and Pure storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity

Administer and enhance VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, virtual networking, and lifecycle management

Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of all infrastructure components

Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python, Bash and other scripting/automation tools

Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security across all infrastructure components, on-prem and cloud infrastructure

Provide expert Tier 2 support and technical mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the global team

Develop and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures

About you

5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and systems administration

Expert-level knowledge of Dell server hardware and management tools (e.g., iDRAC, OpenManage)

Extensive experience with NetApp storage systems, including administration, configuration, and protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI)

Advanced proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related virtualization technologies

Advanced proficiency in AWS, Azure cloud infrastructure and services related to delivering cloud data center services

Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for infrastructure automation and monitoring

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, SAN environments, and Windows/Linux server administration

Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure projects and provide mentorship to junior staff

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and documentation skills
