Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the full lifecycle operation of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, monitoring and disaster recovery. You will be responsible for daily maintenance, fault troubleshooting, performance optimization and project implementation.

Based at Serendah, Selangor, the role covers storage, OS, virtualization, containerization, databases and cybersecurity while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on Linux & Windows server experience, virtualization, storage, monitoring, backup & DR.
• Valid certifications like ITIL, RHCE, MCIT, VCP, OCP, CCNA, CCNP are preferred.
• Familiar with IT process management and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage server and storage infrastructure, proficient in NetAPP, PureStorage, DellEMC, Huawei, Cisco storage systems.
• Maintain virtualization platforms including VMware, Citrix, OpenStack, KVM.
• Expertise in Linux (CentOS/SUSE/RHEL) and Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps / AIOps, skilled in Shell & Python scripting.
• Solid knowledge of public cloud & private cloud, with cloud project delivery experience.
• Experience with APM & BCM tools (AppDynamic, Dynatrace); able to troubleshoot applications and optimize performance. Familiar with Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus monitoring stack.
• Proficient in HA and Cluster solutions for Linux and Windows servers.
• Basic knowledge of routing & switching, information security.
• Skilled in backup and disaster recovery design & operations.
• Deploy and maintain container & microservice workloads on Docker / K8s.

This core infrastructure role oversees the full lifecycle operation of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, monitoring and disaster recovery. You will be responsible for daily maintenance, fault troubleshooting, performance optimization and project implementation. Covering storage, operating systems, virtualization, containerization, databases and cybersecurity, this role combines routine O&M, automation improvement and project delivery. We are seeking an experienced talent in infrastructure engineering with well-rounded technical capabilities and standardized project process experience to ensure stable, efficient and secure enterprise IT operations.

Reports to the Department Lead, with our manufacturing plant based at Serendah, Selangor.

Job Responsibilities:
