Job summary

Great Eastern seeks a senior leader to head the IT Infrastructure Projects Delivery capability. You will drive infrastructure strategy and execute projects across traditional, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring on-time delivery within governance frameworks.

You will oversee complex, multi-phase initiatives, align objectives with strategic goals, and manage vendor and internal stakeholder relationships to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IT or diploma in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in leadership experience, successfully managing and deployment of infrastructure projects.
• Advanced project management skills with strategic planning and program management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of SDLC and PM methodologies.
• Experience with network, servers, database, storage and middleware architectures.
• Experience with PMO processes and governance.
• PM certifications (PMP or PRINCE); ITIL is a plus.
• Knowledge of IT security, risk management and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Infra Project department and guide junior project managers and teams.
• Establish and enforce project governance, standards, and best practices.
• Lead and oversee complex, multi-phase projects with significant business impact.
• Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with strategic goals.
• Track milestones and escalate risks to PSC and senior management.
• Ensure alignment with internal PMO standards and processes.
• Manage stakeholders to translate IT requirements into technical specs.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issues and post-mortems.
• Prepare proposals with the technical solution team for management approval.
• Work with governance functions on risks and procurements.
• Identify risks, interdependencies, roadblocks and propose mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements and risk controls.
• Stay updated on industry/regulatory trends to safeguard the company.
