Job summary

This offshore role is an escalation point for incidents beyond L1, focusing on advanced diagnosis, coordinated restoration, and escalation to platform or engineering owners. The role aims to improve server onboarding, reprovisioning, image deployment, and Linux lifecycle operations, while transforming recurring issues into

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong Linux admin skills across boot, kernel, drivers, networking.
Hands-on with MAAS bare-metal provisioning and image deployment.
Experience in incident management and postmortems.

Responsibilities

Provide L2 incident management for MAAS, Linux, provisioning.
Lead diagnosis, mitigation, recovery actions, and handoffs.
Improve onboarding, image deployment, host lifecycle operations.
Create SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles for L1 execution.
