Job Brief

We are looking for IT professionals with a keen interest in automation on Windows based operating systems. A successful candidate must be of at least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience as a Wintel / Unix Systems Administrator and must be able to demonstrate that he/she has the necessary technical troubleshooting skillsets.

You will

• Support Nagios XI monitoring tool (Product training will be provided on the job).
• Create and deploy powershell / bash scripts for use as NagiosXI monitoring plugins.
• Assist in researching for innovative means to enhance the current monitoring implementation.
• Be part of after-hours support for Nagios XI monitoring tool on a weekly rotational basis.
• Serve as technical resource for incident investigation and change request implementation.
• Serve as next level support for 24x7 monitoring team.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-3 Years working experience as a Wintel / Unix Systems Administrator.
• Working knowledge in powershell / bash scripting.
• Working knowledge in troubleshooting issues with SCCM, Active Directory.
• Working knowledge in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).
• Working knowledge in troubleshooting RHEL, or other mainstream Linux OS such as Ubuntu, SuSe or Linux Mint. Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• A keen interest in exploring and learning new technologies that are relevant to the role.
• The ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Good presentation skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Working knowledge in any Enterprise class monitoring tool (such as Splunk, Dynatrace).
• ITIL Foundation certified. Microsoft based certifications (such as MCSE or MCSA).
• Working knowledge of MSSQL administration.
• Linux based certifications (such as RHCA or RHCE)
