The role requires a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of clinical experience, Post Basic Infection Control, and a Bachelor of Nursing.

Qualifications

Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid practice license.
Post Basic qualification in Infection Control.
Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
Experience: 5+ years as a Registered Nurse with diverse clinical and teaching experience.
Courses in Core elements of Infection Control, clinical microbiology, and infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

Oversee adherence to infection control measures aligned with Vision/Mission and PCI standards.
Plan, manage and justify budget and resources for infection control services.
Audit and improve SOPs and infection control practices hospital-wide.
Lead investigations and root cause analyses; ensure timely incident reporting.
Produce infection control information tailored to audience needs.
Coordinate education and seminars to reinforce safety culture.
