Job summary

RoviSys Malaysia is seeking a Software Developer to design and implement industrial software solutions, integrating OT and IT systems for clients seeking to automate data sharing and reporting.

You will work on MES projects, develop frontend and backend software, and collaborate with engineers, solution architects, and clients to deliver quality code and maintain documentation.

The role emphasizes unit testing and ISO-compliant project processes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• B.S in computer science or related field.
• Interest in manufacturing processes and OT integration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work with legacy technologies to migrate client applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement industrial software solutions to aggregate manufacturing systems information.
• Design and implement MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions.
• Develop high-quality code following RoviSys and client standards.
• Develop, build and test frontend and backend software solutions.
• Execute software development, deployment and maintenance tasks.
• Assist in technical workflow, SOPs and documentation.
• Collaborate in a team with engineers, developers and solution architects from RoviSys, partners and clients.
• Understand and adhere to ISO project execution methodology.
• Participate in industrial application trainings led by senior engineers.
