Job summary

MTD Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to take ownership of workplace safety, compliance and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. You will monitor DOSH/OSHA and company safety requirements, conduct inspections, risk assessments and safety audits, and lead safety training and toolbox talks.

You will identify hazards, implement corrective actions, maintain safety records, and work with Production and other departments to raise safety standards.

Qualifications

• Monitor DOSH/OSHA compliance and company safety requirements.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments and safety audits.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead safety training, toolbox talks and employee awareness programs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, procedures and documentation.
• Support DOSH inspections, audits and regulatory requirements.
• Work with Production and other departments to improve workplace safety.
