Job summary

Genting Malaysia Bhd is seeking an HR Executive - Industrial Relations to manage and support all IR matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws, policies, and collective agreements while fostering a harmonious employer-employee relationship.

The role provides professional guidance on disciplinary matters, grievances, and union-related issues, acting as a liaison between management, employees, and union representatives to promote a productive environment and minimize disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, HRM, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in Employment Law, Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, or related fields will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
• Experience in handling disciplinary matters, misconduct investigations, domestic inquiries, grievance management, and union-related issues will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, review, and implement IR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and promote harmony.
• Provide guidance to management on all IR matters.
• Monitor labour legislation developments and recommend policy enhancements.
• Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and engagement.
• Manage and investigate grievances, misconduct, and disciplinary matters with fair outcomes.
• Coordinate disciplinary proceedings and issue letters as required.
• Organize Domestic Inquiries and disciplinary hearings with proper documentation.
• Foster relationships with union representatives and support Collective Agreement administration.
• Coordinate with Labour Department and other authorities on IR matters.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare management reports on employee relations trends.
