We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Industrial Engineering Manager to lead productivity, efficiency and cost-improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This position will manage a team of Industrial Engineers and technicians while driving operational excellence through industrial engineering principles, Lean Manufacturing, data analysis and cross-functional improvement projects.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and industrial engineering methodologies.
Analyse manufacturing processes and implement sustainable improvements in productivity, quality and cost.
Drive waste reduction, cycle-time improvement and cost-optimization programmes.
Develop, monitor and report operational KPIs, including productivity, efficiency and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Establish productivity targets and track performance against business objectives.
Plan and optimize manpower, machine capacity and production workflows.
Conduct line balancing, capacity analysis and bottleneck studies to improve production throughput.
Perform time and motion studies and establish accurate standard times.
Lead, coach and develop a team of Industrial Engineers and technicians.
Manage multiple improvement projects, including project timelines, resources, deliverables and ROI.
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 5–10 years of relevant industrial engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading Industrial Engineers, technicians or cross-functional project teams.
Strong knowledge of time studies, motion studies, line balancing, capacity planning and workflow optimization.
Proficient in Lean Manufacturing tools and practices, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED and waste elimination.
Strong analytical capability in trend analysis, root-cause analysis and forecasting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or ERP systems is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver measurable productivity or cost improvements.
Good understanding of manufacturing cost structures, budgeting and ROI analysis.
Strong communication, stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
