Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a senior manufacturing operations professional in Malaysia to optimize capacity and productivity. You will lead line balancing, time studies, and kanban implementations across cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.

The role requires strong analytical and planning abilities with experience in lean manufacturing and tools like AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Hybrid on-site/remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Mathematics or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Capacity planning and long- to medium-term resource planning aligned with forecasts.
• Execute line balancing and process optimization to maximize line efficiency.
• Conduct gap analysis between actual vs theoretical performance and drive closures.
• Lead labor-hour reduction and cycle-time improvement projects.
• Coordinate tool relocation and production line re-layout activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs.
• Perform time-study data collection and drive continuous improvement.
• PTL and kanban setup and ongoing maintenance.
