Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations in Penang. The role focuses on factory layout, capacity planning, time studies, and productivity improvements to optimize resources.

You will work with a team to apply methods engineering, work measurement, and simulation techniques, and contribute to CAPEX planning and NPI capacity considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering)
• Good English oral and written skills
• Industrial engineering knowledge including plant layout, ergonomics, operations research, capacity planning, methods engineering, work measurement and techniques, simulation/operational modelling/ facilities operations
• Independent, resourceful, and takes initiative.

Requirements:-

-Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering).

-Experience:

• Good Industrial engineering knowledge, including Plant layout/Ergonomics/Operations research/Capacity planning/Methods engineering/Work measurement and techniques/ Simulation / Operational modelling/ Facilities operations
• Independent, resourceful, and takes initiative.

-Functional Competency:

• Able to work independently with a functional team
• Capacity, Manpower & Layout planning knowledge
• Time Study knowledge
• Office (PPT, Excel, etc.), AutoCAD, and Analytical Reporting Skill
