Job summary

KueMue is a fast-growing foodtech startup creating compact, user-friendly tools for home bakers and small businesses. We’re seeking a hands-on Industrial Design / Product Design / Innovation Intern to join our innovation team to help take concepts from idea to prototype.

As part of the team, you’ll work with the founder, engineers and designers to develop meaningful tools, translate sketches into 3D models, and participate in prototyping, testing and design-for-manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiar with CAD software: Inventor / SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Rhino.
• Strong eye for detail, function, and human-centered design.
• Able to sketch and communicate ideas clearly.
• Experience with 3D printing or prototyping.
• Knowledge of KeyShot, Blender, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience designing for plastics or small appliances.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating new product concepts focused on function, form, and user-friendliness.
• Translate sketches into 3D CAD models and renderings.
• Prepare technical drawings and visuals for internal and manufacturing use.
• Build and test prototypes using 3D printing, CNC, and other tools.
• Participate in hands-on testing to improve usability and reliability.
• Support DFM by learning how to optimize designs for production.
• Join cross-functional design discussions and research materials.
