Job summary

Flex is actively seeking a Commodity Analyst Indirect to join our sourcing team in Perai, Penang. You will lead indirect spend strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization across categories.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance to define requirements and drive savings initiatives. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or engineering and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in materials or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support RFQ process, price analysis, and supplier selection for indirect spend categories.
• Conduct data analysis on spend, pricing trends, and cost drivers.
• Assist in negotiations and contract execution with selected suppliers.
• Maintain and monitor supplier performance and delivery compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Support cost savings, cost avoidance, and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Analyze and report commodity risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes.
