Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Technical Sourcing Senior Engineer to align supplier strategies with purchasing demands and optimize material sourcing for enhanced supply chain performance.

The role involves direct sourcing of fabrication parts, supplier evaluations, and cross-functional cost-reduction initiatives to maintain data integrity and drive zero-defect programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, engineering or procurement engineering.
• Practical understanding of machining processes and fabrication techniques.
• Hands-on proficiency operating ERP systems and spreadsheet analytics.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional project leadership capabilities.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct material sourcing for fabrication parts, standard components, and custom modules.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and quarterly business reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms and lead-time commitments to achieve cost reductions.

Skills And Experience Required.

• Minimum five years of experience in purchasing, engineering, or procurement engineering, preferably within capital equipment manufacturing.
