Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of actuarial experience in general insurance, consulting or reinsurance, preferably with IFRS 17.
• Experience with ResQ and programming or analytics tools such as R, Python, VBA, SAS, or SQL.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and develop team members.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, modelling, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reserving: Manage annual and quarterly reserving processes and timely submission.
• Financial Condition Report: Gather and analyse information to support FCR.
• MFRS17: Maintain IFRS 17 solution for roll-forward and analytics.
• Experience study: Conduct analyses and monitoring reports.
• Risk Management: Support ICAAP reviews and stress testing.
• Reinsurance: Actuarial support during annual reinsurance renewals.
• Lead and develop junior team members through coaching and career development.
• Undertake other ad-hoc projects and provide actuarial support as required.
