Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced IDM/Security Engineer to support identity and access management initiatives. You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, onboard applications, and lead access reviews within the IDM framework.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong RBAC knowledge, and hands-on SQL skills with Oracle. Certifications in information security are advantageous; RM standards apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or CS/IT/Cyber Security from a recognized institution.
• Professional qualification in information security (CISSP / CISM / CEH) or security product certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to analyse and provide SME support in department’s role matrix amendment.
• Perform application onboarding activities including requirement gathering, build, UAT and production deployments into the IDM solution.
• Manage the bank’s access review exercise including access reconciliation and consolidation into a centralised access repository.
• Review application access matrix.
• Maintain Segregation of Duty (SOD) rules in the IDM solution.
• Provide audit related data to internal and external auditors

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with a variety of internal teams and third party service providers/vendors
• Capable of managing a variety of priorities and deliverables in an operational, interrupt driven environment with minimal guidance or supervision.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in identity management technologies and integrate innovative approaches into the bank's overall security strategy;

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution
• Professional qualification in information security, such as CISSP / CISM / CEH, or Security product certifications will be advantageous.

Technical Skills

• 5 to 7 years relevant experience
• Relevant experience in any of the IDM tools
• Strong knowledge on role based access control.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
• Practical knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Python / Java.
• Hands on experience with Reporting tools with excellent computational ability.
